Mr. Yong Cheng founded Richland in 2011. By 2019, Richland manages multiple funds with total fund size of RMB 2.5 billion. Mr. Cheng led the investment of Exciton (300566), Rianlon (300596), CECEP (000591), etc. Prior to founding Richland in 2011, he was a senior investment banker of GF Securities, leading multiple IPOs and debt issuing. Prior to that, he was the youngest division director at China Unicom, a leading telecom company in China. Mr. Cheng is well-known as his depth of thinking and analysis, original view about VC/PE investment.

Dr. Zhebo Ding currently serves as the Partner of Richland Capital and lead the Investment Team. Prior to joining Richland in 2016, he served as senior researcher of GE Global R&D Center, GM of ENN Energy Shanghai, and director of Strategic Planning and External Cooperation Dept. of DOW Chemical. As leading expert in the field of advanced materials, his research in biomimetic nano-materials was cited by the world's top magazines repeatedly. Zhebo earned his Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry from Cornell University in 2002 and was a DOE postdoctoral fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab briefly.

Dr. Bin Wei joined Richland Capital in 2018, responsible for investment in intelligent equipment and industrial internet. As a former Chief Engineer of Manufacturing Technology of General Electric Global R&D Center, Dr. Wei has Over 30-year working experience in scientific research, industry production and project management. He holds 55 U.S. and international patents and 32 technical articles published. He focuses on advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing and industrial internet. Dr. Wei earned his Ph.D. degree in manufacturing engineering and master’s degree in aeronautical mechanical engineering.

Dr. Ding Jin currently serves as the Partner of Richland Capital. He served as Director of Global Strategy and Business Development, Director of Global Innovation Support in the Philips Group, and R&D management positions at Lam Research. With nearly 20-year working experience in the management of strategy, business development, innovation and large projects in global top 500 enterprises and leading-edge research institutes, Dr. Jin is driven by "value of truth" to expand business scopes, and successfully built regional and global R&D teams. Dr. Jin holds a PhD degree in Material Science and Engineering from National University of Singapore.

袁怀东 香港中文大学金融 MBA，沃衍资本管理合伙人。原北京康达律师事务所合伙人。袁怀东先生具有多年法律从业经验和10年的私募股权投资运营管理经历。是沃衍资本创始合伙人之一，目前负责沃衍资本优选策略基金及并购业务全面运营管理工作，并对法务部重要复杂法律事务提供支持。

Mr. Su is a richly experienced Certified Public Accountant. Prior to co-found Richland Capital with Mr. Cheng Yong in 2011, he was the partner of Grant Thornton. Mr. Su has extensive experiences in corporate finance and auditing. He serves as independent director of many publicly listed companies. He has almost 30 years' IPO auditing experience. Mr. Su holds a M.S. degree from Univ. of Quebec at Chicoutimi.

Prior to joining Richland in 2015, Mr. Jiang was the Deputy Chief of Energy Saving Department of National Development and Reform Committee (NDRC) and has a deep understanding of macroeconomy and government policy. He had over 15 years' management and regulation experience in central government ministries. Mr. Jiang holds an MPA from Tsinghua University.
